Community Health Services provides affordable preventative health care services that target more than 100,000 Mecklenburg Country children and adults who are uninsured, underinsured or otherwise lacking access to affordable health care.
Each year, Community Health Services relies on tax-deductible donations and in-kind contributions. These donations are vitally important to continue our programs and services. Contributions come from individuals, faith and civic organizations, foundations, corporations and an annual fundraiser and gala.
Help support the programs and services of Community Health Services. Here are just some of the ways your donations help:
- $50 will help a nurse provide health education classes for low-income individuals and their families
- $100 will help a nurse provide some healthcare and hygiene supplies to those in need
- $250 will help provide immunizations and screening services for those in need and unable to pay
- $500 Will send a nurse to counsel low-income seniors about Medicare, their medicine and their health concerns
- $1000 Will send a nurse practitioner to low-income and bilingual preschools to ensure that children get the health care they need.
